Puppies can start training as early as 8 weeks old, and lessons for parents can start before the puppy arrives. It's important to start early to establish good habits and prevent bad ones from forming.

I offer private in-person lessons in North Central Wisconsin, serving Vilas, Onieda & Iron Counties. Virtual lessons are available to anyone outside my current geography. Private lessons are a great way for your dog to learn important skills from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Yes! I offer single session lessons and Puppy Packages, ranging in degree of coaching and support. From 5 lesson basic (sit, down, stay, come, potty, let's go) to full first year of support, I'm here to help you achieve your goals with your dog. I advise my clients to expect the dog to need active training during the first year of puppyhood. Building training into your routines and having it become a part of your day helps to build a dog that is resilient and a polite part of dog: human society.
I use a combination of positive reinforcement, and reward based methods that uses food, toys and play. Dogs learn from a variety of methods including classical and operant conditioning. Behavior modification techniques to address unwanted actions, such as jumping, fear, and reactivity are science based and personalized to the dog and human.
