My passion for animals led me to own doggie day care centers for nearly 15 years. Supervising packs of 200+ off-leash dogs taught me how to understand dog behavior.
In 2018, I began doing private client training. I am a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer and have raised service animals, titled obedience and agility champions and couch potatoes.
My specialty is teaching new puppies and their parents how to communicate with each other and build a solid relationship. Lessons are available in-person or virtually. We will cover foundational obedience, crate and toilet training along with socialization.
Current geography covered: North central Wisconsin (Vilas, Iron, & Oneida Counties)
I believe in using positive, reward-based methods to build a trusting, respectful relationship with your pup. Working through problem behaviors by teaching your dog how you want them to act is key to success.
Any array of topics can be covered, from jumping to behavior modification work. We can meet in your home, or at a mutually agreed public space.
I can help you establish a routine and teach your dog to use the designated potty area, and enjoy its crate with positive reinforcement techniques.
Teaching your dog to come with called is among the most valuable skills to cultivate! It will help keep them safe and open the door to an off-leash life.
Our leash training programs can teach your dog to be calm on a leash and make walks more enjoyable. Each dog is assessed for proper equipment and fit.
